<image:title>Broken Plates & Old Forests A Memoir - "Broken Plates & Old Forests" is a coming-of-age story about a young boy and how he struggled through a past that most cannot imagine. Today, college professor Jeff Anstine dives into his painful past, revealing for the first time the thoughts of a young boy trying to persist day by day. While experiencing the typical childhood ups and downs of school, sports, and friends, Anstine was also forced to face issues involving divorce, semi-poverty, a missing biological father, and “dads” who were not father figures. His story also shines a bright light on how pedophiles prey on vulnerable children, and on how skeletons in the closet, like keeping a biological father a secret, affect a child’s development, as well as the functionality of an entire family. This is a story about finding the strength to rise above, even under difficult circumstances. The path that Anstine was forced to take could have led to his demise. But his inspiring message shows that even out of bad circumstances, there can still be hope for the future.</image:title>

<image:title>How To Succeed In College - College is a completely new and sometimes overwhelming experience for most incoming first-year students. As with anything new in life it helps to know what to expect. If you were traveling to Europe for the first time, you would probably gather information about the area you were visiting through the Internet, guide books, or a trusted friend who has experience traveling to that area of the world. Professor J. Anstine, using his many years of experience as a college professor, has written this book for high school students planning to attend college, current college students, and parents. The information provided will certainly help great students who want to be excellent students, good students who want to be better students and marginal students who may be on academic probation, or even to those who have dropped out. Professor Anstine guides students and parents on what to expect in college (both inside and outside of the classroom), what to do when you encounter personal or academic pitfalls, and why uo should do everything you can to complete your degree. A Professor’s Guide to Success in College is a must-read to help today’s students prepare for and make the best of their college experience.</image:title>

<image:title>Coping with Depression in College - For most students, college is a time for intellectual growth, self-development, and maturing into adulthood. Unfortunately, for some of us it is also when depression hits and causes us to struggle in making progress toward our future goals. A Student’s Guide to Coping with Depression in College by Dr. Jeff Anstine was written to help students just entering or currently attending college who suffer from depression. Dr. Anstine’s focus in this book is how to navigate the college experience while coping with the effects of depression. He provides specific advice on how to study, what classes to take, and other practical suggestions so that students do not derail their college careers and can graduate on time. In addition, Dr. Anstine offers suggestions for jobs and careers that may fit well with certain personalities, while providing examples of individuals who have succeeded in their careers in spite of their depression, or excelled because of it, to encourage students to keep pushing forward.</image:title>
